About custom content

Works24 has professionals on staff who can write and record custom messages for you. Simply send us a request through the Portal. We can either write something new based on your notes, or you can submit a script for us to read verbatim.

Access the Custom Content Request page

This takes you to the On Hold Dashboard. Click the Custom Content button on the left.

Here, you’ll see a status list of all of your custom content requests.

Make a custom content request

At the top of the Custom Content Requests page, click the Create new request button.

Complete the New Request form, completing the following fields:

  • Title — Give this request a descriptive title that will help you find it later.
  • Voice Talent — Select male or female voice.
  • Notes — Anything that will help the production team. Pronunciation of names is very helpful.
  • Request Approval From — Select a user from the dropdown menu if you want us to send the message to them for approval.
  • Target Library — Where you want the message saved.
  • Bypass script writer? — Select Yes if you want this sent directly to our studio for production without editing.

In the Messages section, click the Add Message button.

Enter a title for this script. Type or copy and paste the script or a description of the message you want the studio to record into the Script field.

If you want our script writer to to create a message for you, state this here. (Example: “Please create a message using the following points…”, then list the details you want included in the message.)

After the script request has been saved, you will be able to Add a comment to send a message to our production team.

Click the green Save button. Your request will be sent to our production team.

Use our script writer

Our script writer can help you craft your message. She can write the entire message for you or simply look over your script to be sure the wording flows well. Within a day of submitting your request, you will receive an email asking for final approval.

Click the link in the email to view the final script. Either approve the script and send the request to the production studio, or send it back for re-writes along with your notes. The approval process will continue until you approve the message and send it to the studio.

Receive your custom message

The custom message will appear in your Custom Message Library five to seven days after you send it to the production studio.
