About the Video Content Manager

In the Video Content Manager, you can:

• Organize video clips
• Delete (and restore) video clips
• Upload images
• Upload videos

Access the Content Manager

On the My Products page, click the Lobby Video Players Dashboard button.

Then click the Content Manager link on the left.

This takes you to the Video Content Manager page.

Organize video clips

You can create or rename categories within the video libraries, and you can also rename the libraries themselves. You can also move video clips to different categories.

To make these changes, click one of the video libraries at left. You can add a category by clicking the “+” button. You can change the name of the library or a category by clicking the pencil button.

To move a video clip to a new category, click on it and drag it to the folder you want.

To move multiple video clips to a category at once, click the checkboxes to the right of those videos. A dropdown menu appears at the top of the list once a checkbox has been checked, prompting you to select a category. Select the category, then click the Move to Category button.

Edit video information

You can also edit a video title and add the video clip’s script by clicking the clip’s Edit button.

 

Delete (and restore) video clips

To delete video clips you don’t intend to use, click the red trashcan. If you decide later that you want to use this clip, you can restore it. Click the gray trashcan icon at the top of the list to reveal the deleted clips. Then click the circular arrow button next to a clip to restore it.

Upload images or videos

When you upload an image or video, it becomes a clip in your video library. It can be added to your playlist like any other clip. Or, it can be used as a background in creating your own still or video clip in Create24.

The size limit for these files is 2 GB.

Drag the file from your desktop to the File Uploader (the box with the dotted border) on the right side of the screen, or click the File Uploader area to find the file on your computer.

When the File Uploader window appears, complete the Title field and, if you choose, Script field. Select the library where you want to save the video clip from the dropdown menu. Also, select a resize method. If your image or video does not fit the screen exactly, it will either be stretched across the entire screen, centered on a black background, or letterboxed on a black background.

Click Upload. The new file will be placed in a folder called “New Content” in the library you selected.
