IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ BEFORE INSTALLING:
The download line must not have any auto switches or line sharing devices installed on it, or the on hold unit will not work correctly.

Instructions

  1. Mount the unit to the wall, plug in the power, and connect the remote player’s 600 OHM port to the phone system MOH port.
  2. Important: The remote player must be the first device and must be in the series with the fax machine or other devices.
  3. Find the telephone line going to the fax on the punch-down block.
  4. Remove this line from the punch-down block and attach the provided jack to the line.
  5. Connect the provided line cord to the jack and line port on the RUF 2708v.
  6. Connect the second biscuit jack to the fax cable and plug the in-line cord from the second biscuit jack to the line cord on the RUF 2708.
  7. Once the installation is complete, call technical support for testing at 800-460-4653. Please do not call in from a butt-set. Once testing is complete a confirmation number will be provided for the invoice.
